Sources of financial support

The Government wants employers to take more responsibility for the cost of training their workforce. However, there are pockets of funds that employers or training providers may be to get. We can help you access these and reduce the cost of training!
Most publicly funded training is through the Learning and Skills Council, which contracts delivery to training providers including North Bar Training, but the amount of funding depends upon type of provision, location, occupational sector and the age of the learner.

Another option is Train to Gain.
Under this option the government will support employers train their staff to NVQ level 2 or 3. There are eligibilty criteria which are not straigthforward at first sight, but call us for more informtion.

North Bar Training also has access to ESF funding.
